We’re lifting the red velvet curtain and giving you a sneak peek into what it means to work for companies in Kanata North. Kanata North isn’t just a fantastic location with plenty of successful companies, outdoor activities and great food, the culture that exists inside the walls of the businesses here is first-class.

Up next? Thinkwrap Commerce.

Thinkwrap was founded in 2004 with a clear vision to become a global leader in implementing smart Commerce solutions for clients.

With its dedicated focus on eCommerce, the technical team at Thinkwrap Commerce has been able to retain and build on the lessons they have learned from every eCommerce project they have undertaken over the years.

As we began to pull together the behind-the-scenes look at Thinkwrap, we noticed that they had posted their company values on their website and we LOVE what they hold near and dear to their hearts:

  • Honesty, Transparency and Open-Mindedness
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Employee and Customer Loyalty
  • Teamwork
  • Ideas, Innovation, Initiative
  • Technology Excellence
  • Safe, Healthy, Happy and Rewarding Workplace

So, let’s dive in and look at how their values show up in their day-to-day.

Continuous Improvement Happens Through On-Going Development

Continuous improvement is one of Thinkwrap’s company values and they definitely embody it. From hosting lunch and learns on a regular basis to investing in their employee’s continued growth by having them attend relevant conferences, they are constantly learning and growing.

Here is the team attending a conference for The National Association of Electrical Distributors where they soaked up information about the electrical industry.

Here’s Thinkwrap technical lead, Yvon Lavoie, speaking at an SAP event in Montreal.

Mindfulness Matters

The Thinkwrap yogis recently took a well-deserved afternoon break at work, which is fantastic! More and more companies are moving to a more mindful approach, which takes into account their employees’ state of being.

And, they create moments of deliciousness like this French toast feast during one of their First Friday breakfasts. The only question now is… how can we get an invitation to this yummy event? 😉

The Team that Comes Together, Stays Together

The team at Thinkwrap recently came together to participate in the Nokia Inside Ride, which helped to raise money for Candlelighters. When your team can come together in such a meaningful way, you know they are building relationships that will last a lifetime.

The team also knows how to come together to celebrate, too! Here’s the team over at Thinkwrap celebrating St. Patrick’s Day together – we LOVE that almost everyone is on theme, too!

And, we’d be remiss not to include this Star Wars day celebration!

Thank You Thinkwrap!

We love seeing what our Kanata North companies are up to behind-the-scenes so we want to extend a huge thank you to the team for opening themselves up and telling their story online.
