After much anticipation, the annual Discover Technata career fair is back for a full day of programming and connecting job seekers with world-class companies and startups.

On April 5, hundreds of employers and quality candidates will descend on the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata North for the career fair, which is looking to fill the 1,000+ positions currently open in Canada’s largest technology park.

“As we advance our objectives of growth for Kanata North tech park, talent is at the core of what our companies need,” says Jamie Petten, president and CEO of the Kanata North Business Association, the organization running the annual job fair. “With over a thousand open roles in Kanata North today, the timing couldn’t be better to showcase our exciting tech ecosystem. I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with colleagues and enjoying the return of face-to-face collaboration in Canada’s largest tech hub!”

Both students and professionals looking for new job opportunities are encouraged to register for the event, as well as any government officials or policy makers looking to hear first-hand about the challenges and opportunities facing Ontario tech companies.

Investors, venture capitalists and Foreign Ambassadors are also welcome to network with the leaders in Ottawa’s tech community.

The career fair is also the perfect opportunity for companies who are actively recruiting to showcase their company and products to potential employees and customers.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to gain access to top tier talent in the heart of Canada’s high-tech hub. With a dense concentration of over 540 companies within a few square kilometers, Kanata North is an epicenter for innovation, with over 28,000 highly skilled employees and leading global technology companies that compete on the world stage.

Whether you’re recruiting or searching for your next career move, the Discover Technata career fair should be your first stop.
