On March 28th, the Kanata North Business Association is hosting Discover TechNATA, a tech expo and talent hunt, at the Brookstreet Hotel from 11am – 6pm. This event is going to be a one-stop shop to connect with Kanata North companies and get more information on what they are working on.
As Canada’s Largest Technology Park, and a vibrant tech hub, Kanata North has long been recognized as a hotbed of technology innovation. If you can, get out to the Brookstreet Hotel tomorrow and experience the growth and success of the companies in this area.
Speaking of growth and success, here are just a few of the companies who are experiencing rapid growth and who are looking for more talent for their Kanata offices.

Epiphan Video is currently on a hiring spree for their Kanata-based offices after they provided video technology to another NASA mission — the European Space Agency’s Plasma Kristall-4 research mission. From a recent OBJ article: “This is the fourth ESA mission to use Epiphan’s technology, with up to 11 more expected over the next three years.”
The article goes on to say that, “The firm is also in expansion mode here in Ottawa, with plans to add another 3,000 square feet to its current footprint on March Road as well as embark on an aggressive hiring spree.”

Syntronic has plans to add to its growing team as well. Syntronic focuses on research and development, new product introduction, production and aftermarket support for their clients, who fall into the telecom, defence, industrial, MedTech and automotive industries.

NXP Semiconductors is currently recruiting for a number of positions. NXP recently announced the i.MX 8X family of applications processors at Embedded World, which is an important step forward for the automotive market.
