Kanata North employees will soon have a new workspace option available as local  property manager Merkburn Holdings turns the second floor of 62 Steacie Dr. into a co-working facility.

The Catalyst Kanata Business Center offers multi-person offices, a shared kitchen and common areas, boardrooms as well as single workspace stations spread out across 10,000 square feet.

Co-working is becoming increasingly popular as many organizations rethink how they use office space and look to give employees the flexibility of dividing their time between working from home and an office.

The Catalyst Kanata Business Center is set to open later this spring.
