You.i TV announced in November it raised US$23 million in financing in a series-C round led by Massachusetts-based Causeway Media Partners, and joined by other previous investors.

It’s the largest round yet for the 200-person firm, which plans to add another 100 employees in a bid to gain ground in the sports media market. Its last funding round was in 2016 and saw the firm raise US$12 million, led by Time Warner.

Bob Higgins, a partner at Causeway Media, will be joining You.i TV’s board.

Co-founded by Jason Flick and Stuart Russell, You.i TV provides software tools to help development teams build cross-platform apps. The financing will go toward expanding the firm’s global reach. The company counts A+E Networks, AT&T, WarnerMedia, NBA, Warner Brothers, National Geographic and Fox among its customers.
